The design of the Shimano XTR RT-MT900brake discs is a further development of the successful Ice-Technologies Freezaconstruction. While the improved weight reduction of 5 or 10 grams of the 140or 160 mm discs represents a particular advance.

This effective heat management while braking is achieved by the sandwichstructure (stainless steel - aluminium - stainless steel) improving brakingperformance and reliability. The result is first-class and consistent brakingeven in the most demanding conditions.
